About ARES
The University of Maryland is happy to offer a wide variety of services
to campus faculty and staff through this one-stop-shop web page. As
you travel through, you will be able to locate many administrative,
faculty, and research services in one setting.
We welcome and encourage your comments so that we can make
these pages useful to you. At the bottom of each page there is a link
for sending e-mail to the web master or to the office responsible for
the service. Tell us what you think...good or bad!
Administrative Resource Enterprise Services (ARES) is a cooperative
effort between various units on campus. In some cases we link to a
site developed and supported independently by a specific office.
The Division of Information Technology has developed and maintains this site.
Obtaining a Faculty ID
Ask your payroll coordinator for a Faculty and Staff ID Card Request form. Since this is a photo ID card, you must personally bring the completed form to the First Floor Lobby of the Mitchell Building. The ID cards are made Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If you have any questions please send email to idcard@umail.umd.edu.
